Is it normal for a manager whom you report to, to go on holiday after 2 weeks from when you started a new job. He leaves you with a list to do things without proper onboarding, or training. What is more every internal stakeholder is on holiday, and yet you are expected to be fully on track with everything after the manager comes back from holiday?

I don't understand the complaining or the the gossip part because if I said something that I like I don't like my boss's shoes is that complaining or is that gossip or is that just the truth ? LI think you making it too easy to say that cuz you make a comment about something that somehow that's got some how come with the boss says about you is not gossip it's it's fact and it sticks to you no matter what you say

Watching this video helped me learn why motivating employees in the workplace is essential for a variety of reasons. Firstly, when employees are motivated, they become more engaged and productive, resulting in enhanced levels of performance and efficiency. Motivated employees tend to surpass expectations in their tasks, demonstrating initiative and making positive contributions towards the organization's objectives.

well; looks like everybody here is complaining about micromanagers; so I'd rather micromanage some employees for a short period of time rather than fire them. Also micromanagement is very efficient for newly hired collaborators without previous experience in the field so they can learn about details. and of course when employees understand the system and the philosophy they can act on their own.

I have a bit diferent problem. I am manager of sales team. I will only get money when we meet 100% of the target, but my team is not good enought so i have to help them to get like 30%. They then get payed more then me, if i don´t help them i get payed more then them, but i don´t get bosuses. If i help them i get mine bonuses, but they get even higher ones then me. So my question is what should i do coz i don´t want to do there job for them, when in the end they get the money nad not me...

Yeah, i got this many times. In one case, the employee asked when I needed the job done and then endless details without actually doing it. In another case, an employee offered that he and I could do the job together ........

Thanks, but no, thanks! I am not going to change my attitude towards an incompetent, hallucinating manager! It is not my job to listen and behave strategically, it's his/her responsibility to learn management before heading on such a role. Is the manager is not capable of managing own duties, better f. off!

What happens when you don't make a profit? Your company fails. You have to let everyone go. It is 100% about generating profit in exchange for the value you provide. You could sit outside all day long selling koolaid but unless you make a profit you won't be able to feed yourself, pay rent, grow, scale, hire, take care of your employees. The value you provide is nothing without profit. That is the north star. How to get there? Provide value. Listen to your customers. Love your customers. Make your customers feel heard and special. Understand them. Make them know that you're there for them. Never underestimate the importance of profit, and it's directly related to you relationship with your customer.
